Need some background noise for your own MOC build session? Here is an audio clip to get the creative juices flowing.
This is where we put our money where our mouth is. Why buy an $800 set when you can buy the pieces on BrickLink for half the cost and build something completely unique? The beauty of LEGO is in the creative freedom. Below are three of our favorite custom builds (MOCs) with links to their respective tutorial videos on our YouTube channel.
This MOC was our first major attempt at a large-scale diorama, focusing on forced perspective and layering snow effects using various white and light gray plates. It captures a small skirmish between a Rebel speeder and a few Snowtroopers.
Focusing on the classic desert aesthetics of Mos Eisley, this MOC features a dilapidated moisture vaporator, a market stall, and a custom built, brick-built Dewback. We used mostly tan and dark tan bricks to capture the sun-bleached look of the twin sun planet.
This MOC is inspired by Clone Wars era battles, showing the wreckage of a massive Venator class Star Destroyer on a lush, overgrown planet. It required techniques for 'slicing' the starship and integrating plants and vines over the exposed Technic frame.
